Children have unique nutritional needs, so the Guiding Stars panel of experts has created a rating system specifically designed for children under the age of two. How it works

Baby Stars & Adult Stars?

Noticing some foods have different star ratings in the baby aisle? Babies and toddlers have different nutritional needs than adults, so the Guiding Stars criteria for baby food is also different.*

No stars?

If the shelf tag has no stars, it means one of two things:

  • The product does not meet the criteria for a star.
  • The product is not rated by Guiding Stars (formula and medicines are not rated by Guiding Stars).
